THIS BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED TWO BEDROOMS, TWO BATH, TWO-STORY CONDO WITH A LOFT IN A WOODEN AREA IS IN THE BAY. THIS CONDO HAS A LARGE FLAT SCREEN IN THE LIVING ROOM. EACH BEDROOM HAS A KING SIZE BED; ONE UPSTAIRS AND OTHER DOWNSTAIRS WITH A TV. THERE'S ALSO A VCR. THIS IS A NON-SMOKING, NO PET UNIT. YOU WILL BE A SHORT WALK DISTANCE TO THE LAKE, TO ONE OF TWO OUTDOOR POOLS, A PLAYGROUND AND BOAT RENTALS. NOTE: FIREPLACE FOR DECOR ONLY/ DOES NOT PRODUCE HEAT

  Super clean, great main level mattress, the loft mattress is bearable but could use replacing. We did not cook in the unit. Cutlery is in need of sharpening or being replaced. We could barely cut limes for cocktails. We could not get the main living area TV to operate. The main level tv was fine. Might need new batteries in the remotes. These were just minor things. I would stay here again. The furniture is comfortable and the decor was nice.

  Trip and stay was good, there still should be a bar or grill open on the winter months even if it’s only for a short period during each day. Doesn’t mean it needs to be open late at night. But over all I enjoyed it. I would recommend to friends, especially in the summer months.

  We love returning each October for our annual fishing trip with three generations of our family convening to fish our hearts out. GTB is a special place for our family as we have been coming to fish here long before it was the beautiful resort it is now.   We loved the resort and the rental. This is a good location, really close to walk to the pool and we also walked to Thirsty Turtle. Plenty of room in the house and the fire pit was great to have. Overall we had a good experience here.

  Friends were coming through the area. This was a GREAT place to stay as if was much like times we shared when they lived here! Having a home like place allowed us time to talk and drink coffee without having to sit on a bed in a hotel room.

  Beautiful setting inside and out. Stayed a week with kids and grandkids. Private but close to everything. Lake was fun and everything was as posted online. Will be back next year and hope to stay here again. We rented three houses all next to each other was easy to go from place to place.

  The outdoor areas for congregating on deck and fire pit were perfect for our multi family multi generational gathering. We found the beds to be very comfortable, the space well laid out for privacy and collective activities.
  We are now planning a family reunion at our cabin compound for next year—renting the golf carts is a must.(only reason for 3star on cleanliness was ants on kitchen sink surface wall in #344)

  We stayed at 344 Tranquil Turtle and it was wonderful! Our unit was so nice and clean! It was like home away from home. I am recommending this resort to everyone now! Two pools. A beach. The thirsty turtle restaurant was so cool! We rented a double decker pontoon with a slide and the adults had just as much fun as the kids! Cannot wait to return to this place!!

  A friend recommended this location and it was everything she said about the location. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed. A small glitch in communication with management and pool attendant regarding hours which attendant wasn’t very friendly in letting us know the pool was closed. It would have been nice to offer more water activities such as paddle boats or kayaks. Overall I would highly recommend this place 😊

  The Tranquil Turtle is a well-decorated, welcoming and clean condo. We had everything we needed to cook meals, and more importantly, just relax. The couches and beds are very comfortable. My only recommendation would be a small table to hold a cup of coffee or glass of wine next to each of the couches. Overall, excellent experience.

  Had a great weekend for our first stay. Our vacation rental property was very nicely decorated, comfortable and very clean with all conveniences. The gas barbecue could be replaced as the lid was unstable, and the gas fire pit which was a great bonus to have could use some maintenance.
